Cristalco Suisse, a joint venture between Cristalco and SALCO AG, has acquired a substantial share of Baltic Distillery in Germany to strengthen its European leadership on the specialty alcohols market!

With its 125 years of expertise in producing premium alcohols, Baltic Distillery adds 240 000 hl of high proof specialty alcohol to the 3.7 million hl marketed yearly by Cristalco’s extensive distribution network in Europe towards the spirits, beverage, pharmaceutical, fragrance, and cosmetics industries.

Through this strategic move Cristalco Suisse will strengthen even more its ability to serve our customers at best by offering :
full control of the value chain, greater agility and responsiveness and sustainable and reliable supplies of alcohol anywhere in Europe, at anytime

Along with its partners at the Baltic Distillery, Cristalco Suisse ensures the business continuity of the production plant located in Detmannsdorf, employing 30 local staff.
